Our reception team welcomes you from the beginning of March to the end of October and gives a quick and efficient front desk service. We want you to feel at home at our campsite, and we therefore place great value on friendliness and helpfulness even during the busy peak periods. Our Guest Manager, Corinne Nanzer, is happy to be at your service together with Claudia, Marutzka, Madlen and Petra.
The label “Family Destination” is awarded to holiday places and destinations that streamline their offers towards the needs and wishes of children and their carers. The Camping Delta is particularly proud to have been awarded this prestigious “Family Destination” label of the Swiss Tourism Association, within the scope of the certification of the Lago Maggiore Tourist Office.
Holidays at Camping Delta will be even more convenient for families. Children up to their 14th birthday are free of charge. Two playgrounds in the beautiful park, as well as many entertainment programs will make small and big children happy. During the high season: kid’s club.
The team of Grant Dow is responsible fpr the maintenance of the technical installations and service of our wonderful park. The skilled gardening and maintenance team consists of Nicola, his son Giuseppe and Agostino.
Our team of cleaning ladies guarantees the cleanliness of the Camping Delta: Nelly, Ivelisse, Maria, and Celeste are responsible for cleaning the washing facilities as well as all other installations including our modern caravans.
During the night, Ales and Dejan safeguard the peace and order, making sure thats guests respect both one another and the campsite.
The Camping Delta offers the possibility to hire one of the 15 caravans for up to 7 people. Big caravans for big families. We attach great importance to the upkeep and cleanliness of our caravans, also on the part of our guests, to ensure our quality offer can last for another long time. A visit to our restaurant is an absolute must during your stay at the Camping Delta: the long-term leaseholders Manuela Bianchi and Luciano Badino spoil guests with their Mediterranean meals. Apart from the famous and popular pizzas, prepared by the chef himself, they also offer mouth-watering dishes to please any gourmets. In the mini-supermarket next to the restaurant you will find everything you need or have forgotten to buy.
Our long-term guests have the opportunity to enjoy their holiday at our camping by renting a plot for a period of 2 to 8 months at a special price. It is also possible to rent boat moorings in our port. Our Guest Manager Corinne Nanzer and our front desk team will be happy to provide more information about prices and conditions.
Surfing on the internet is now faster and easier than ever before thanks to the optimization of our wireless system: free for all the Camping Delta guests! Forgot your PC? Use our Internet corner at the reception during reception opening hours for CHF 5.00/30 min.
Upon request our shuttle bus service is available to bring you to the city center or the railway station of Locarno: adults CHF 4.00, children CHF 2.00 per trip and person (running times daily from 08:00 - 11:30 and 13.30 - 16:30). The Bus (Line 3) from and to the city center or railway station of Locarno now also stops right in front of the entrance of the Camping Delta.
For those who wish to keep in shape during the holidays, there is a range of power and cardio training equipment available in our fitness room. Furthermore, you can rent bicycles (also with child seat), stand up paddles, kayaks and deck chairs from our reception. On rainy days, visit the Lido di Locarno right next door to relax and have fun in the beautiful indoor and outdoor pools, thermal bath and slides for the kids.
Relax and recharge your batteries in the thermal baths Salini & Spa in Locarno, the largest natural salt water spa in Ticino, only a few steps from our campsite.
